We're delighted to have been selected as part of the Co-op local community fund.
We would like to buy equipment for our new development at Brown Moor Field, which will cater for our growing junior football section of boys and girls teams.
About this cause
We aim to offer football in the local community to all ages, race, gender and ability, encouraging transition through all of our age groups. We provide coaching for technical excellence, while maintaining the ideals of fun, friendship and teamwork. By improving our young players' physical and mental health through football, they will learn new skills for off the pitch, as well as on it.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Brown Moor Fields project will help us to cater for the growing number of young people wishing to access our football club. It will allow us to support the development of our boys and girls teams, as well as adding a disability football provision. Our project improves young people's access to community sport for the fun and friendship it brings.
