Welcome to the first of what we hope will be a quarterly newsletter. In what has proved to be a very challenging year for all, the trustees of the PFA have been delighted to witness the great work done by our sports sections in difficult circumstances.
Our mission at the PFA is to enable the people of Stamford Bridge and District to take part in sport or recreational activity regardless of their age, background or ability.
The big news is the progress we have made with the new football facility on Brown Moor Field. This has been in the planning stage for over 4 years and despite many setbacks, this development is now reality. The land drainage work has been completed, along with the preparation for the car parking area. The site will now be closed until spring when seeding will take place. We remain on schedule for football to be played on the site in the 21/22 season.
